Barbara Giuffre, one of our founding attorneys, is a well-respected (AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell) and experienced employment law attorney. She has devoted most of her legal career to resolving employment law issues, defending the rights of employees, and protecting their futures. Ms Giuffre works on cases that come from all over the San Francisco, California, Bay Area. Her approach is personalized, practical and professional. She has sustained achievement in her cases. She was given Super Lawyer status in 2014, 2015 and 2016 for her work in employment law. Many employers’ lawyers, who have opposed Barbara in cases, later refer potential employee clients to her office.

Energy and Environmental Law
Richard (Rick) Raushenbush, our other founding attorney, is an experienced advocate on energy and environmental law matters. He is AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell. He represents clients before the California Public Utilities Commission on major electric and natural gas infrastructure projects and rulemakings related to renewable energy, as well as related litigation. While a partner at Latham & Watkins, a leading international law firm, he represented businesses in federal and state court litigation in California and other states on matters involving toxic torts, contaminated property, Proposition 65, and compliance with environmental laws. As the former Vice-President and General Counsel of GreenVolts, Inc., a solar energy start-up, he is familiar with the issues faced by renewable energy companies. Rick is acutely aware of the high cost of litigation and seeks to achieve his clients’ goals efficiently through high impact and innovative legal strategies.
