Helping Clients With Their Energy And Environmental Law Issues

The Work/Environment Law Group also offers its clients representation in the energy/environmental law issues arena through our other founding partner, Richard (Rick) Raushenbush.

Rick has over 20 years’ experience as an energy and environmental lawyer. Before founding Work/Environment Law Group, he was an equity partner in the Environment, Land & Resources Department and Litigation Department of Latham & Watkins, a leading international law firm. He also served as vice president and general counsel of GreenVolts, Inc., a solar energy startup. He has represented major corporations and small businesses in a wide variety of matters, involving strategic advice, litigation in federal and state courts, administrative proceedings, and evidentiary hearings before the California Public Utilities Commission. He takes pride in efficiently solving his clients’ problems with innovative legal strategies and hard work.

Rick is available to help businesses that want to participate in energy and climate change rulemaking or need CPUC representation. Rick also is interested in addressing his concerns about climate change and conservation by providing his services pro bono in appropriate cases.

Areas of Practice

Harassment and Discrimination

Wrongful Termination

Our wrongful termination representation is targeted at holding employers accountable for unlawful job dismissals that violate contractual agreements or are based on impermissible legal factors, such as retaliation, whistleblowing, or fraud.

Severance Agreements

If you are laid off or terminated, your employer may offer you severance pay in exchange for your signing a legal release.
