A Smart, Attentive and Practical Approach to Your Employment Law Concerns

You have put years into building your career. We have put years into practicing employment law. When employment law issues arise, whether they concern harassment, discrimination, termination, severance, or what to ask for when you take a new job, you may benefit from consulting with an employment lawyer who has both the experience and the candor to help you sort through the relevant issues.

At the Work/Environment Law Group, Barbara, our attorney calls upon her two decades of sustained achievement in law practice to provide support to employees throughout the San Francisco, California area.

This office understands employment law. We have worked with the broad range of issues that may arise in the work environment. We have helped guide employees before they start jobs, during their jobs, and after their jobs have ended. If you have suffered from any form of harassment and discrimination in the workplace, wrongful termination or need help negotiating or understanding a severance agreement, please contact this office. In addition, we handle non-compete and non-solicitation disputes, trade secret issues, medical leave and pregnancy leave cases, fraud cases, disability cases, wage and hour disputes, unpaid commissions and bonuses cases, retaliation cases, and whistleblower cases. We can help you navigate through any of these issues with your employer.

Right after law school, Barbara had the honor to serve for one year as a law clerk to a federal district court judge in San Diego. There, she learned a lot about effective courtroom skills by observing the trial skills of other lawyers who were trying to persuade the judge or jury. After that, she polished the core competencies in the art of practicing law when she worked in a large, prestigious Wall Street law firm. She handled complex business matters and commercial disputes, sometimes with large teams of some of New York City’s best known lawyers.

Since returning to San Francisco, Barbara has built a personalized law practice. She has concentrated on employment law exclusively. She enjoys working with a broad range of clients who do a wide variety of jobs. Barbara has taken and defended the depositions of many witnesses, has appeared in court too many times to count, and has tried many cases to jury verdict or arbitration award. However, she negotiates and settles most of her cases on favorable and confidential terms before trial.
